In August 2020, DEEKSHA embarked on a transformative initiative in Village “Jargadhora” in Jharkhand. Over 200 fruit tree saplings, including Mango, Guava, and Sapota, were planted across 1.5 acres of community-provided land. This initiative fosters sustainable livelihoods and environmental conservation, providing a source of sustainable income for the villagers through fruit sales while promoting self-sufficiency and resilience.

(b) “CHUA TO TAP”:

The Success Story of Rasabeda Water Challenge: DEEKSHA partnered with GRAM Association to bring community improved water services to Rasabeda village in Jharkhand. A water pipeline, storage tank, rainwater recharge pit, and employment opportunities were provided, transforming the lives of the villagers and multiplying the prosperity that water brings.

(c) Ganga Clean-Up Drive:

A Collaborative Effort by DEEKSHA and NCC: Under Project Swachhata, DEEKSHA and National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets joined forces in the Farrukhabad district of Uttar Pradesh to rejuvenate and preserve the Ganga River. Activities included removing plastic waste, solid waste, and conducting awareness campaigns, instilling a sense of environmental responsibility among the community.
